Many of today’s articles and online discussions about social media are about the “media”. Frequently asked questions are “what is it?”, “how does it work?”, “how should I implement them?” Many innovations in Communication are looked upon from a conventional media perspective. Whether it’s about tweeting from a project or blogging as an alternative branche for corporate communications, the attention is predominantly on the media themselves. Much less communication attention is given to the processes web technologies enable.
